Dress Code Minimize

Since your appointment is an elective one (e.g. not an emergency attendance), it would be appreciated if you presented in civillian clothing.


Languages Minimize

English is spoken throughout; our medical staff are bilingual although they may have to communicate in German with each other.


Mobile Phones Minimize

The use of Mobile phones is permitted, there is also a payphone located in the entrance hall.


Obstetrics & Gynaecology Cases Minimize

During opening hours the British Outpatient Department is, from time to time. required to accomodate urgent Obstetrics and Gynaecology cases, which may lead to prolonged waiting times for planned patients in that particulat speciality. Please be assured that FOPD staff will endeavor to keep the waiting time for all patients to a minimum, if however, clinics are running late due to an influx of urgent cases, you will be advised accordingly and kept informed about progress by medical assistants.


Prescriptions Minimize

FOPD Prescriptions are to be taken to your medical center dispensary from where the appropriate drug will be supplied to you.


Previous Medical History Minimize

Typical Clinic RoomIn order to make your intial FOPD appointment as effective as possible please ensure that all relevant diagnostic reports, x-rays, MRI images, discharge letters etc. from previous treatments in other facillities are forwarded to the British Outpatients Department or taken along by you personally prior to your first presentation.


Snacks & Beverages Minimize

Tea and Coffee is available from a machine located in the Kitchen of the main entrance hall. A vending machine is also provided where you can purchase Cold Beverages, Chocolate bars and sweets this is located in the main entrance hall.


Waiting Room Minimize

Waiting RoomThe FOPD has a waiting room for adults where English magazines and still water are available free of charge; an attached second waiting room is well equipped with toys for children. Colouring books and crayons can be made available on request.
